Mt Morgan
The Cadet Group in Mt Morgan is about to celebrate 10 Years of operation. Plans to mark the occasion on 2005 are already in hand. Mt Morgan Group is currently comprised of 11 Cadets, Two Adult Leaders and a Coordinator and the Local SES sponsors them. The Group meets every second Monday evening from 6:30pm, and they train at the Local SES Training Head Quarters.
Mt Morgan Cadets are a lively group who are very community conscious. They enjoy the support of all local Emergency Services Agencies and the Local Council, which is reflected in the makeup of their LCAC. Mt Morgan is Located about ½ hours journey from Rockhampton. The town itself is enjoying more and more popularity as a tourist destination and it is unique in its development, specifically in early gold mining, and in its colorful history.
Mt Morgan Cadets would welcome visitors from other Groups if you are in town for a visit.
