Yeppoon
Yeppoon Cadet Group is presently comprised of 13 Cadets and 3 Adult Leaders and has been operating since 1996. Yeppoon Group is sponsored by the State Emergency Services and operates out of the SES Training Head Quarters. Yeppoon engages in all of the Cadet Training and Activities that other Groups around Queensland employ, but has the added advantage of the beautiful coastal climate and invigorating fresh salt air and a holiday feel in all things.
Yeppoon Cadets have the support of the Coast Guard who operate locally out of Roslyn Bay Marina and they can utilize a variety of beautiful local venues for activities and camps, such as Byfield National Park and The Causeway Lakes. Yeppoon Cadet Group is in the unique position of having strong support from the Livingstone Shire, with dedicated administrative support from Local Government.
The Yeppoon Group trains every Thursday evening from 6:30 to 9:00pm.
