Hopevale
Situated 50KMs North of Cooktown, Hopevale is set amongst the beautiful rainforest mountains and sandy beaches of Far North Queensland. Hopevale has a healthy number of young people in town, with many of the secondary children traveling 100kms each day to Cooktown for their education.
With few sport and recreation activities available to the youth of Hopevale, Emergency Services Cadet Program has filled a void for not only young people, but many of the adult leaders in Hopevale also.
The Hopevale Cadet group meets every Tuesday at 4.00PM and is sponsored by Hopevale SES.
