The Childers Emergency Services Cadet Group is a vibrant, dynamic group providing young people with fun and safe place to be every Tuesday afternoon.
The Childers Cadet Group meets on a Tuesday afternoon (during school terms) at the SES Headquarters in North Street, between 4:30pm and 6:30pm. The group offers activities and training that builds skills to better equip young people for community life.
If you think you’d like to try your hand at field-craft, general rescue, or map reading and navigation to name only a few activities, then the Childers Cadet Group may be just the thing you are looking for. For further information please contact the Youth Development Officer in your region.
The 8 Adult Members and 17 Cadets enjoy training that involves all aspects of emergency services training and most of the Cadets are involved with sport and other community groups in town.
