Charleville

Charleville, located on the Warrego River 758 km west of Brisbane, is the largest town in the South West of the State. It lies in the heart of the mulga country in outback Queensland.

The Charleville Cadet Group is supported in partnership with Education Queensland as part of the Youth Action Program (YAP): they currently have 34 cadets and 5 adult members. The group commenced in 1998 and has continued to be strong and active. They receive good support from emergency services units from throughout the south west district.

Charleville Emergency Services Cadet Group meets weekly on Friday afternoons from 1:30 to 3:00 pm during school semesters.
