UPDATE: Vertical rescue - Mulambin (south of Yeppoon)

At approximately 1.20pm, a rescue helicoper winched a man from a cliff face off the Scenic Highway at Mulambin (south of Yeppoon) and transported him to a nearby car park. The man, believed to be in his 40s, was uninjured and did not require treatment from the Queensland Ambulance Service.
