Doonan (Noosa) – bushfire UPDATE

The bushfire burning in the Doonan area has been brought under control and is burning safely. Queensland Fire and Rescue Service (QFRS) crews will remain on scene throughout the afternoon and evening to monitor the fire. A smoke haze is expected to linger in the area overnight and residents are urged to keep their doors and windows shut and those who suffer from respiratory illness should keep their medication close by.
