EMERGENCY ALERT - Toorbul and Meldale

Emergency services has advised a storm surge WATCH AND ACT message is current for the areas of Toorbul and Meldale, which are likely to be affected by a dangerous storm surge caused by Ex-Tropical Cyclone Oswald at 9am on Saturday 26 January, 2013.
Residents are urged to take action to warn their neighbours and secure their property if concerned about their safety.

The community will be notified when there is no longer a storm surge threat.
