SES Week celebrations

SES Week

SES Week is a national celebration of the dedication and commitment of the thousands of men and women who selflessly volunteer their time and energy with their State or Territory's State Emergency Service.

This year, SES Week will be celebrated around Australia in November 2012. The SES Week launch date and location are yet to be announced. Regional Award Ceremonies will be held throughout SES Week in each EMQ region culminating in the Queensland State Awards Ceremony held in Brisbane on the final Sunday of SES Week.

SES units around the country will be holding events to celebrate all that is great about SES volunteers.

There will also be a national 'Wear Orange to Work" day during the week - this is generally celebrated on the Wednesday within SES Week.
