State Emergency Service (SES) Week 2007 - 10 to 18 November

The State Emergency Service (SES) Week is a national celebration of the dedication and commitment of the thousands of men and women who selflessly volunteer their time and energy with their State or Territory’s State Emergency Service.
This year, SES Week will be celebrated around Australia from Saturday 10 November to Monday 18 November.
The national theme for this year’s SES Week is "Ordinary People Doing Extraordinary Things".
The theme focuses on thanking volunteers for their service, and the week is a fantastic opportunity for communities and residents alike to offer their thanks for the support SES volunteers have given to their local community.
SES units around the country will be holding events to celebrate all that is great about SES volunteers.
There will also be a national 'Wear Orange to Work" day held on Wednesday 14 November
