State Emergency Service (SES) Week
The State Emergency Service (SES) Week is a national celebration of the dedication and commitment of the thousands of men and women who selflessly volunteer their time and energy with their State or Territory’s State Emergency Service.
Traditionally, SES Week is celebrated around Australia each year during the second week of November.
SES Week focuses on thanking volunteers for their service and is a fantastic opportunity for communities and residents alike to offer their thanks for the support SES volunteers have given to thier local community.

SES units around the country hold events to celebrate all that is great about SES volunteers. This includes a national 'Wear Orange to Work" day.
