VMR Service Agreements
The Department of Community Safety (formerly Department of Emergency Services) through Emergency Management Queensland has Service Agreements in place with the following organisations:
- Volunteer Marine Rescue Association Queensland (VMRAQ);
- Australian Volunteer Coast Guard Association (AVCGA);
- Surf Life Saving Queensland (SLSQ); and
- Royal Life Saving Society Queensland (RLSSQ).
Service Agreements meet Treasury Guidelines for the administration of grants and outline the services to be provided in exchange for Government funding. The Agreements establish funding levels, time frames and reporting requirements for accredited volunteer marine rescue organisations.
Funding is limited to operational costs directly associated with service delivery
