Volunteer Opportunities

Click here to find out about the many opportunities that exist in emergency services for volunteers. You can become a vital part of emergency service delivery to your community as a Rural (volunteer) Firefighter, an Honorary Ambulance Officer, a member of a Local Ambulance Committee, a RACE (Response Advice for Chemical Emergencies) volunteer or a State Emergency Service (SES) volunteer.

Volunteer Portal

The Volunteer Portal website supports Queensland volunteers from the Rural Fire Service (RFS), the State Emergency Service (SES) and Honorary Ambulance Officers from the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS).
